Hi Dr. Halevi, Is it possible to use acupuncture and chopsticks in conjunction in the same treatment session? If so, how? Thanks, Bob. |

Yes Bob, it is not only possible but sometimes very rewarding. This combination is applicable especially in pain syndromes involving tight muscles in the neck and upper back areas, strained lower back muscles and so on. You would usually commence with the acupuncture treatment. After the needles' withdrawal you may use the Longstick stimulation as appropriate for that specific disorder. Make sure to follow the instructions and precautions presented in my book. You may also use the Longstick for tonifying purposes but, I think, acupuncture and moxa may well do the job by themselves. |
