I am a massage therapist and have a client with numbness in her chin due to an auto accident. There are metal plates in her face including her chin. Any advice to help get feeling back? Also frozen shoulder~~what techniques should I use? I tried everything I know. Some pain relieved, but can' lift the arm. Thank you so much |

The problems which you describe are very hard to cure by massage, if at all. The chin numbness may need acupuncture in order to resolve, even so the practitioner must be very skilled. As for the frozen shoulder problem, plenty of heating and cupping may do the job. I would also suggest blood cupping if you know how to do this. The chopstick acupuncture technique may be of great help for the shoulder, and second best to acupuncture for the chin numbness. In the book, there is a special chapter for shoulder pain. Hope this helps. |
