Start: Li-4, Li-11 - try to cause Qi sensation in a proximal direction Follow: Ren-24, 23, St-5 - local deqi. Final: St-43/44 If the numbness is accompanied by a cold sensation or aversion to cold/wind - use moxa on local points, on the needles. If not use mild electricity on local points. This should help, keep me posted. |

In this case use the same local points with the chopstick stimulation described in my book. Did you buy it ? Now, seriously, I think the book will give you an enormous contribution to your work. |

I would add that applying Qi gong on her chin may give propmpt results. Tell your patient to rub her hands firmly until they are hot and then apply self massage by rubbing both of her palms rapidly over the chin area. She should do this until the entire area is quite warm. Dave, physiotherapist, Toronto. |
