Dr. Schmuel Halevi, Since autism is a congenital problem and as I read in some literature, congenital problems are related to Kidney essence and qi deficiency. Your expert view may help the child on the following protocol. Instead of trying any treatment on tongue, can the following protocol be tried? If yes, sequence, frequency and duration to recognise if it works may be advised by you. Tone all of the following as per the sequence: K-3, k-6, Cv-4, Gv-4, Gv 14, Gv-20, Ub-11, Ub-15, Ub-23, Gb-39 Add organ source point of Liver and Gall bladder and tone for autism. Add Tw-4 after few days if treatment shows little or no improvement. The treatment is preferably bi lateral but Right side alone should also help. I do not have any user example who got partial or full relief from autism, but have heard of this protocol helpful in congenital problems inclusive of autism, down's syndrome and variety of other problems. |

Michael, the only tongue points that I know of are Jinjin, Yuye - extra points. They are located on the lower surface of the tongue, and are used for speech problems, mutism, tongue and mouth ulcers, etc. The needle insertion is quite deep and parallel to the tongue surface, for speech problems. It is quite painful and not suitable for children. Otherwise, they are being bled. |
