My son woke up in the middle of the night and started peeing on the floor. I realized that he was sleep walking and picked him up to finish in the bathroom.

He then started coughing, gagging, wheezing, hyperventilating, crying and convulsing (my wife later said that's what he did when he came back out of the anesthesia during his sedation dentistry.)

My wife kept asking if we should take him to the ER. I said no and picked him up and started rubbing in the general areas of the Back-Shu points of the Lung and Diaphragm. He calmed down after about 2 minutes and I could give him a quick adjustment to the same areas.

I then told him that I caught him peeing in the hall way, to which he started laughing (things like that are funny to a 5 year-old.)

He slept through the night and is fine.

My wife was shaken up, but I know that my intense studies in Asian Medicine are what brought him out of the "fit."

I'm also my wife's hero for a little while as well.

I'm posting this so others may benefit as well.

From my memories of bed wetting you are dreaming and he was probably laughing because he was dreaming he was in the loo. I'd find that funny, wouldn't you. Just a thought. It would have been interesting to ask him what he was dreaming, if he was dreaming.

Jan.
