Hello, Mr Halevi.. first of all, thanks for the nice pages.

I'm a 20 year old healthy male and I have this question.. Often after meals I find it difficult for me to concentrate on anything. This is accompanied by a irritated feeling on the roof of the mouth and on tongue. I also feel kind of light -headed(hard to explain more precisely). Also I feel that it might have something to do with my saliva system. Other things that might have something to do with this is that my thoughts get jumbled easily and I'm sometimes quite restless (I think this would be excess heat in my head ?) Oh, and I try to eat healthy. No wheat, and I have a mostly vegetarian diet(I eat fish and cheese regularly)
So do you know any acupressure points that might help with this? Or maybe some common herbal tea I might take after meals to reduce this effect?

Juho

Hello Juho. Your problem correlates with a known syndrome called in Ch. med. clear yang unable to ascend and nourish the brain. It is associated with the st/sp energetical functioning and often attributed to a weak spleen chi and excessive phlegm.
You may read more about this here:

In order to give you a more precise suggestion you may need to provide more data about your condition. The best idea would be of course to consult a Ch. med. practitioner face to face.
