Hi everyone, This is a message for all practitioners that practise the therapy CUPPING. You have all been invited to participate in a survey for the re-design of a Therapeutic Cupping Device for Medical Research and Treatment. This survey is being carried out by Warren Lewis who is a third year BSc Product Design student at the University of Sussex in the UK. I am re-designing the cupping equipment that is currently available on the global market. The main objective for the re-design is to allow for further medical research into cupping, so a more precise and safe application of the cupping therapy can be administered. This will increase the number of patients that use cupping by improving the knowledge and understanding of the therapy to the UK culture. Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, then either move to the next question or you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important for us to learn your opinions. Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. Your information will be coded and will remain confidential. The on-line questionnaire can be found at: http://www.questionpro.com/akira/TakeSurvey?id=310777 If you know of any other CUPPING practitioners or users that would be able to answer a few questions, I would be gratefull if you could pass on the web link. If you have questions at any time about the survey or the procedures, you may contact Warren Lewis by email at wcpl20@sussex.ac.uk Many Thanks. |
