Dear Dr. Halevi, I read with much interest your amazing article regarding the diabetic ulceration acupuncture treatment. In my humble opinion the outcome of this treatment must be published in ALL health magazines and not only in journals of Chinese medicine. However, I wonder if this treatment can be applied when the case is a gangrenous development on the big toe which does not take the shape of an ulcer? Much obliged for your answer, with warm regards, Tim. |

Thank you for your kind words Tim and the answer to your question is YES. This treatment is applicable at any site on the body, almost always with very good results. The goal of the treatment, is to enhance local circulation of blood and energy, thereby to accelerate tissue regeneration and the removal of waste elements. In my opinion, there is no other therapy that can achieve this goal better and faster than acupuncture. |
