Is there a special technique for the use of this point for tennis elbow? Are there other useful points for this problem?
Much obliged for any help on this.

The treatment of tennis elbow usually consists of local and distant points. Most points are located on the Shou Yang Ming, i.e.: the LI meridian. Distal points are usually Li-4 and L-7 for the Yang Ming segment, and Sj-5 for the Shao Yang. Li-11 is the main local point. It is usually punctured to obtain deqi and then redirected toward the pain focus. It is manipulated to cause numb sensation in the area of the pain. When tennis elbow reacts favorably to heat, moxa is applied on top of the Li-11 needle. Most often, though, there is an Ahshi point in the location of the tennis elbow pain. It is very effective to insert a needle there and have the needle directed, underneath the skin, along the muscles stretching from the elbow distally towards the palm. Needles may be retained 30 min.
