I have a patient with right torticollis so he can't turn his head up and right for 3 months. The main point that I have already punctured is GB 20,GB 21, GB 12 and BL 10. Is there another points that more effective to treat torticolis? Is paravertebral point (back shu) allowed to electric stimulation? Thank you in advance.

Points I have found very useful for neck problems are Bailao (M-HN-30 Extra Pt.),Hua Tuo Jiaji at C6 and SI 3 (opens Du Mai), which are all on the Small Intestine Sinew Channel pathway.

It is also possible to palpate for taut muscle bands/trigger points (Ah Shi points) and use slow sparrow pecking needling, while remaining alert for twitch responses as the muscle releases.

Yes, Kevin is right. AhShi points are very useful plus needle manipulation in order to disperse the stagnation and release the muscle tightness. It was not mentioned, but needling is only unilateral. If the torticolis is of long duration and very painful, blood cupping is also a good technique.

Hi Dr. Halevi
I have a client who 4 years ago took magic muschroom and had a really bad trip. Since then she kept having flash backs during which she has very strange sensations like being alienated from her body. She says that her body is not hers. From her tongue I concluded that she has excess liver yang and spleen deficiency. Could you help please?

Well, go for it. If this is what you think is her main imbalance do try to rectify it. I suggest that you also try to calm her down and balance her nervous system by using points such as: H-7/ P-f/ Yintang and paihui etc. Balancing her nervous system and calming down her liver yang might do the work.
BTW, this is an entirely different topic from the previous posts. Please create another topic if you wish to discuss this further. Thank you.
