As a personal technique, how do you locate GB30 in prone position (not lateral decubitus) ? |

Most often, the point is obvious as a somewhat dented or submerged area at the center of the gluteus maximus. This can be palpated with a very gentle finger probing of the area. At other times, a much heavier finger pressure is needed in order to locate the hollow deep depression in the center of the muscle. This point responds only to deep insertion of the needle. |
