Hi Dr. Halevi, I find this matter very disturbing and have sought advice elsewhere but as yet received no response. I recently recommended a local clinic for acupuncture to somebody I'd been working on briefly (shiatsu). She told me that female friends of hers have had bad experiences there. One girl in particular went there on her third visit and during the examinatio/ treatment the TCM practitioner digitally penetrated her. Nowhere have I read or been taught in my studies of this being necessary for diagnosis or treatment. Even in treating endometriosis or other lower abdominal complaints I've never heard of this being justified or required. I would like to pass an expert's opinion to her so she can have a better idea of whether se has been as inappropriately touched as I think she has, and whether this doctor is abusing the trust put in him by patients. |

She has definitely been abused. Sorry about this concerned. There is no such procedure in Ch. med. diagnosis. |
