Hi Shmuel, Sometimes when i needle back shu pts. for LBP, ( not acute pain ) the pain agrevates .....why is this ? thanx boaz |

This usually shouldn't happen, Boaz. There may be two reasons for that. Either the needling is too shallow and/or mild therefore it tonifies and accentuates the pain rather than invigorates the Qi and blood in order to eliminate the stasis. Second, the needle is not properly situated at the point and causes discomfort to the patient. In such a case, the pain is caused by the needle and may build-up pain in the area or even add to the original LBP. |
