mmmm... I can see that this forum has not received visitors lately. Is this because of the suicide-bombers or just laziness Sidney, A.A., wake-up. Here are few pictures from the cute small class in Kfar Veradim, Israel. The fellers who did not attend the class that particular day will excuse me. (Why did nobody take a picture of me ?)

Well Shmuel, I do look alone out there among the girls. Anyway, next week we take pictures of you to add a little class to the class - after all nobody does a better brush knee than you do Shmuel!! I'm also looking foward to seeing AA in action. |

Very simple A.A. If you have some nice JPG's reduce their size in a picture-editing program and upload them here using the code mentioned in the "Formatting" topic on the left panel. If you are not sure how to do that, just send them to me by Email and I'll do the job. |

Sid, you do look alone among the girls but it ain't really a complaint, or is it? How did the pictures come out? |

Good quality pictures Shmuel but then again, the excellent results you got are thanks to my bald head out there to lighten up the hall - radiating all that there Qi ... |

O.K., I'll try it this way first... If this works, it is a photo (from L to R) of my Sifu Eddie Wu, his oldest son Edward, his late Auntie (Siku Nai-nai) Wu Yan-hsia and his sister, (Siku) Wu Hsiao-feng doing Grasp Bird's Tail from the long form onstage in 1995.

It worked, brilliant! I've got a lot of public domain photos of the Wu family if you guys are interested, as well as some of the other families. I'll see if I can dig up a suitable picture of myself or one of my classes to post next. Cheers, A.A.

Ok, here we go again. These are much smaller photos (taken with my phone), but you should get an idea of what things look like a bit. These are from two different classes of mine.

This is a photo of a senior instructor from our Hong Kong school demonstrating a "Ta Tao" (big saber) form at our 2002 Founder's Day banquet in HK.

Oops, I should say that Sifu Eddie Wu's oldest son's name is Austin (Wu Chung-him). Edward (Wu Chung-wai) is his #2 son who is not in the family picture above. Sorry Austin! -A.A. |

This is really enjoyable. Starting to get faces behind the words. Do YOU appear anywhere in the photos A.A.? Here are some other pics from israel: This is a public instruction on the two-years-ago Tai Chi day in Haifa (The Independence Garden). ...and this is myself up in the Taigetos mountains (near Sparta) in the Peloponessos, taking a Tai Chi break after a very long drive. Here is a favorite picture of mine showing that actually, everybody can benefit from Tai Chi.

Great pictures there Shmuel - I recognize most of those faces in Haifa. Now why don't you take some shots of the dedicated group that meet every morning (at least they do in theory) in the wood below Antena Hill in Cfar Vradim (Rose Village - Western Galilee)practising Q-Gong and Tai Chi. There's only a few of us at present but those woods around the village will be full of Tai Qi lovers one day soon. |

Greetings! Very nice. The Israel pictures remind me of places I have visited in Taiwan. I am in two of the the next three pictures, a single whip form, a photo of my Sifu's grandfather in the same form for comparison (so you may see what I am trying vainly to do!) and then a group photo in our HK school from 1994. I am the young looking guy in the middle, in between the late master Wu Yan-hsia and the current senior of the Wu family, my "Sikung" Wu Ta-hsin. Sifu Eddie Wu is in there, as well as Austin, whom you may recognize from the above photos as well.

So, from L to R in the above picture we have: Sifu Austin Wu Chung-him, (my) Sihing D. Richards, Sikung Kwok Hsiao-jong, Sifu S. Britt, the late master Wu Yan-hsia, myself, Sikung Wu Ta-hsin, Sifu G. Parker, (my) Sifu Eddie Wu Kwong-yu and his stepson, Sihing Jeffrey To. Cheers, A.A. |

Alright, just two more and I'm done for a while, I promise! Here we are doing a group form in front of the Wu Tang gate at Wu Tang monastery in 1994 (this one reminds me a bit of Shmuel's Sparta picture): And here I am halfway through "Turn Body & Hide Tao" in a sabre form I did at a Wushu tournament in 1998. It was good enough for a silver medal.

This is very impressive A.A. I can see that you are a real prominent member in the Wu family and it is an honour having you here in our modest forum... Not that I didn't realize this fact by merely reading your correspondence here Any chance that you visit israel one day? |
