Hi Everyone; Need fresh eyes on the current challenge, Elderly lady (84) recent TIA, has left her very weak no energy to suck on a straw. Left side much weaker & bed ridden. tongue slightly bent to left. MRI came back negative. Vitals good, BP little high 150-180 fluctuates. Blood panels all normal not as interactive as prior event, voice loss even for singing. Preexisting dysphasia & and upper chest, throat congestion with drooling. She has has responded to some treatment, smile is normal again, tracks visualy very well, and alert to surroundings when not sleeping. but need to get her strength up to eat ! Looking forward to guidance !!!!

Try to boost her energy in the first place, like: Sp-6/ Ren-4/ Ren-6 - usually with the aid of moxa on needles like Ren-4 and Sp-6. Occasionally, you may add points that address her specific weakness of the left side, or the drooling etc. I recently have added a case history (of a much younger person) treated by me for hemiplegia with excellent results.
